Real nice man. Any ETA on when it will be done?
trying to get my fuel lines together. i'm going to go tomorrow & see if the local hot rod shop has the fittings i need. if not i'll have to order them & once again be at the mercy of the mail man!!!!
looks awesome. love the color.

getting ready to start making the lines i need & get everything for the fuel system done.
Cool, so hooking to them at the fuel pump assembly?
no, i connected them at the stock fuel filter connection & the return line union connection.

& just to set the records straight, the re-bar welded to the frame is NOT my doing, LOL!!!!
nice job..
I seen the re-bar and knew instantly what it was for
that's what it's for:smile:
the previous owner put it on there. honestly in the 6 years i've owned the truck i've only drug it about 5-6 times. i had to cut some of it off to move my trans cross member. they had ground the bolt heads down on the drivers side the frame & welded the re-bar over the bolt. :sigh: on the passenger side they put the re-bar right on side the bolts, just enough not to be able to get a socket or box end on it. all of that is taken care of now.:thumb:
as far as progress, i got the new shifter cable ran & the linkage hooked up. all the fuel lines are done & i started putting the thinned out truck harness back in. it's nice to be able to roll up my windows that have been down for the past month, damn shaved doors, LOL!!!
so far everything is back in working order. only funny thing i noticed is the fuel & oil pressure gauges maxed out when i turned the key & stayed like that. i'm hoping once i fire it up they will work right, oil pressure builds & fuel pump kicks on.
