I didnt do Crap to the truck tonight... Had to take the GF to Dinner since she has not seen me awake all week... Ramsey I am sending you a PM with pics of fuel pressure guage... I did get a huge box of Fittings and AN line today so i can have it all ready ... Mount the intake, 100% button up the top.. Put Oil/coolant in the engine and get Oil pressure.. Plugs and Wires... I am getting close... Sorta low on Funds... But I will get some sleep and see if anything has fell from my Money tree overnight.... Thanks everyone
I Made AN lines today... Got about 80% of the fuel system stuff ran.. I worked on the fuel cell and Fuel Sender Area... I have asked other with Fuel cells about senders and all 5 of them didnt have one... Only took an hour or so .. but I now have a Factory sending unit in my Tank ..I am low on Funds but I have a decent side job or 2 i can do tomarrow... I would really like to hear the motor Run by friday ... I am only at Day 6... I feel like I am 70% there.. Sucks the last 20% is going to cost me 1,000 .... I will sit down and figure exactly what this Swap has cost me.. But everytime i get something its 500 or 1000.00 ... I would like to think the fuel system is overkill.. the only upgrades/changes I will make to the truck after this are to the turbo system and a few Converter swaps..
Update? did you get sidetracked on your new hoopty.
No i didnt get Side tracked on the new Hooptie.. I had to buy a new PI converter... then i removed my old front mount 70mm turbo stuff to build a much bigger front mount kit that will support big power.. Have my brand new Duramax exhaust kit sitting here in the box... it took me a week to build a turbo braket to support all the weight ... I will back on track soon but i work faster then Parts guys sometimes... I will update soon !!...KCQuote:
