Using 2wd and slicks in a 4x4?

His stock hydraulics will prevent him from seeing full potential

I vote with Red for 4 wheel slicks!

It actually hooks OKAY on a 125 in 4x4. No idea what it'll do on a 200.

Thing bout four slicks tho.is lots of rotating surface... Ill find the awd racing/launching thread for you... There are tbss guys that run street tires anddr on back in low 11s

AWD and 4x4 are different. I realize everyone is all about the 4x4 launch, but you guys don't feel it robbing power on the top end like I do. Sure, it gets out of the hole great, but I'm losing a lot on the big end.

There are trucks running in th 10's on stock tires 4wd.

Correct. I'm not worried about hooking in 4x4. I'm just wanting to run in 2wd to see what happens.
