Ok another update! It starts and runs good! I want to post pics dang it.. I need to find my memory card adapter. But there are still of course a few issues. The first is some of the dash lights, at all times when the key is completely off, the ABS light is on. wtf? When the key is on, the air bag light is on? And another thing that was really wierd to me, i guess there is something im not understanding, is the speedo works, and i did nothing with the vss or 4k wires?? And none of the factory tranny plugs are even plugged in. Not complaining or anything. And the biggest problem, the tranny is acting funny. it wont shift into third or overdrive, and i dont think it is downshifting into first on its own. I havent done anything with the vehicle speed sensor plug by the tranny, could this cause this problem? Or do i still need to do something with the 4k wire? Any help is appreciated!

I'm in the process of throwing up the wiring info from my haynes manual.
About the trans, I believe you need to re-pin the 4L60 main plug (the round one with like 15 wires) for the newer-style 4L60.
The wiring is different from the early 60E's to the newer ones. google it, I'm sure you can figure it out.
Figure that trans out, before something bad happens!!
NOt sure on the brake thing or the airbag thing. my truck is a 91...it barely has power windows, much less airbags haha

Well from what i have read the 95 model is when the changed the plug to the new set up or whatever. I have read you dont need to change anything on the tranny 95 and on. Thanks for all your help by the way. I need to get these problems figured out!

Holy cow Thanks! That is scary lookin tho. Lol. I definitely don't have things in hand though, I don't even know where to start with The transmission, its gotta b something to do with the vss or 4k pulse thing not hooked up, the new computer is controlling the tramsmission but it doesnt know how fast it is going. I'm hoping someone will chime in thats had this exact problem or something!

It's tough to tell since the tune is kinda unknown, and we can't sure if your 0411 is getting the raw VSS hi/lo feeds. the 4k pulse thing is from the 0411 to the cluster, not a big priority right now, really.
That computer needs those feeds to calculate a lot of stuff, not just what output to give the cluster with the 4k feed. trans, a lot of stuff actually
if I were you, I would physically check to make sure that the 0411 is getting that info and go from there.
gonna need to get in there with a multimeter and check some continuities

Ok everything is shifting great now! I tied the vss wires from the new harness into the vss wires on the old harness. There are only a couple problems keeping me from driving my truck and I think they have something to do with each other. The first is the brake switch wire from the new harness, I read that it is supposed to go to a wire on the brake switch that doesn't have oower until the pedal is pressed, is that right? But I cam only find a wire that has power and when you press the pedal it goes off. (i may have said that backwards.) That being said I have no brakelights either. Do you guys think this is a bad brake switch?

no man, that's what your PCM needs. 12v pos on that purple when the pedal is NOT pressed, then you push the pedal, open the circuit, then nothing until you release the brake and then the feed goes hot again.
just splice on to your original purple wire in the brake switch, good to go.
no brake lights, huh? could be a brake switch...could be a cut battery feed into the chassis harness somewhere. Did you cut most of the wires coming from the drvr side firewall?

Ok thanks. And no I haven't cut any wires yet, was waiting to make sure I had everything workin. And the ABS light is also still on anytime the key is completely off I assume that has somethin to do with it too
