Well, the STS oil pump bit the dust and had to install the friggin expensive Exapump for durability. Hopefully will never see oil blowing out my tailpipe ever again. Get your minds out of the gutter.
My mind didn't go to the gutter until you said not to. Don't press the big red button.
hows the progress on this? did you ever figure out a way to tune for boost? why not use the maf or are you exceeding the hz ?
ive thought of turboing my 2010 but havent looked into the tuning aspect yet. i know flaco has a customer that made almost 900 rwhp with a GMT900 truck
Installed a tune from a 2008 silverado and now have it 2 bar tune, no MAF. The factory MAF tune did not respond correctly unless you were WOT. It burned up my 408 pistons during a half throttle run. Running the stock 4.8L engine plus 42 lb injectors with 10 lbs and running good. Ran a 8.48 at the track a few weeks back. Waiting to get it tune a little more. Needs more fuel pump, too. I need to upgrade pumps, thinking about the Aeromotive Eliminator http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-pa...pump-assembly/ pump.
There still is no support for the 07 GMT900. :nutz:
i have had alot more luck with a blow through maf than draw through...easier to controll IMO...
Redheartbeat..
why not go with the ZO6 maf card and cut the tables in half and double the frquency of the maf?? dont have to wory about pegging ias easy..instead of 15000hz....30000hz
I am getting ready to re-do the whole setup. I'll take it into consideration. I'm not quite sure how you go about splitting the MAF range, though. Is there a writeup somewhere on how to do that?
