i got my new tune in also truck runs alot better but it hit revlimiter shifting in to 2 gear and idels alittle to high when i put it in gear and it loves gas

Why would you even consider the LS1 hot cam in your truck with a converter that low?
All the badass cam specs out there and you got that one!!LOL
Have Allen spec you out a cam,he will set you right!!

becouse the ls1 hot cam is the best bang for the buck. btw, the truck ran better with the first tune so i put it back in. the new tune was slow out of the hole. it would only do a 2.60 60 foot. i put the old tune back in and went back to a 2.15 60 foot.

New best time in. 13.72 @ 98 m.p.h. The hot cam is awsome. I had a 1.98 60 ft. thanks guys.

SO you picked up a whole second in the 60'? And a whole 2 seconds on the 1/4? Sounds like Nelson really helped you out.

No.I went from a 2.70 60 ft. to a 2.15. 6 tenths. The 13.70 was at lower elevation. Thats why it went so much faster. It runs 14.80s where I live. When I lived in Oaklahoma it ran 14.90 with a CIA, shorty headders, cat back, and a Hypertech programmer. So I go back to Oaklahoma and it ran 13.70s with a LS1 hot cam, Yank 3000 stall, Hoosier slicks,Nelson tune, shorty headders, CIA, and a 3inch cat back. So it wound up going 1.20 seconds faster with all the new stuff. That 1.2 seconds shure was expencive.
