I hear that. We're definitely pretty broke right now but this one is real. I'm not saying we didn't do some SERIOUS shopping around and pinching pennies, but we got this one at almost half price and its 1.65 carat. My woman isn't one to spend a ton of money in the first place, but there's no way she'd have worn CZ. She knows the rules though. This is the last one she gets for the next 10 years, so I made sure she was happy with it. I'm not saying there is ANYTHING wrong with doing what you did. I fully believe that if you're engaged, she needs something on her finger. I don't care if its a damn ring pop. Sometimes you just have to do things like that and make up for them later. You did the right thing and she's as happy as if she would have gotten the second one the first time I'm sure.
Hell, I didn't think we'd be able to get one yesterday at all. My tax return hasn't come in and we got lucky with 0 down and zero financing. When it comes in next week I'll go pay this bastard off though for sure. I hate making payments. I walked out the door with this thing for 155$. The only thing I had to pay on it was theft protection, which I shouldn't have paid for to begin with, but did for some reason.
