If it helps Its a 4 pin relay and the other two wires are yellow and green. I looked at the Haynes manual but their schematic is not specific enough. The ignition key is sending power when I hit start but after that I have no idea what goes on. I got the two main relay blocks off the car but not the fuse panel from the interior could that have anything to do with it. Well if comes down to having the PCM burnt I hope your ready Allen.

Trying to use the body control module, VATS and all that junk from the donor car is an exercise in futility. Get Allen to program you a PCM and be done with it. Your wiring nightmare will be over much quicker if you go with the custom PCM. BTW, where are you located?

Oright Allen I got a PCM that needs some burning. Im out of Augusta, GA. Since Allen has that Nelson Performance deal on his name Im gonna contact them right now.
-
If he programs it like my old one it will work excellent. I would get him to program a 2002 PCM for your application. The algorithm for that year model is a little better performance-wise. Remove VATS, have him program for rear end gears and tire size, remove torque management since you have a stick shift, get the performance 93 tune if you are going to buy the mega-tune that he does so well. I purchased a basic program with minor tuning and smog stuff removed to save money. Now I have LS1Edit and play with my tune whenever I feel like.
If you know someone in your area that has HPTuners software for you year model car you can have them turn the VATS off and program for the gears and tires. Their software is unlimited to the number of cars you can tune but is limited to only one year model and vehicle type.

Hey thanks Greg, I called Nelson Perf. yesterday and talked to Allen. He said he can send me a PCM with the VATS removed, change the gears, tires and what he calls a "Street Rod" tuning good for a few horses. He told me to go ahead and try to start it and if it started and cut off right away then it was the VATS, but if didnt start at all it might be the wiring. Well hooked everything up and hot wired the starter and fuel pump and it cranks. But you can tell theres no combustion going on. I know I got fuel at the rail but I dont think the injectors are firing cuz theres no smoke coming out and you could tell if there was some combustion but Ill go ahead and order the PCM.

Did you check for spark? Fuel pressure can be checked by pressing the purge valve to see if you have any pressure. A noid light can let you know if the injectors are firing.
I see the header laying on the sidewalk by the truck, I can see why it won't fit. Did that header come off your car?
-
I checked the spark and it was present, I know there's fuel at the rails but I dont know what PSI. For the headers those are the ML's, the car had LT's and the ML's will fit if I do more modifying to the frame and A-arm with the grider but Ill do that after new years. Its gotta be the VATS thought. I cheked the fuse for the injectors while I cranked and it had no power.

If it is VATS the engine will usually start and run for a few seconds but my truck wouldn't run at all until Allen disabled the VATS.

Yea thats gotta be it. I ordered the PCM from Allen yesterday I cant wait til it gets here. He's also sending me a cool LS1 Truck.com sticker.
