Joe Gibbs or Silverado SS

What is this insurance protection thing you guys keep talking about on the ss? is it just because its classified as a sport truck or somehting? And how much hp does the vho come in? can you get it in a single cab 2wd? I also like the regency's but the last ones i had looked at were all 4.8 with mostly just exterior upgrades. if i wrong please fill me in. I do like the look of a tbss and i had one pass me at well over 100mph on my way back to school a coupple weeks ago, and although i would like to drive one to test it out, i still couldent see myself owning one. a low 14 et is a very good time for a larger vehicle like that to.

LQ9 345hp/380 lb/ft torque 6.0L engine in a 2wd 1/2 ton extended cab pickup and has the 4l65e trans. (KC4) Cooling, engine oil, (KNP) Cooling, external transmission oil cooler. Torsion bar front susp. 14 bolt 9.5" ring gear differential. 17" disc front brakes and drums in the rear.(Z82) Trailering equipment.

what color trailblazer passed u goin over 100? and in what area? Low 14s is great for the SUV in stock trim.

Not quick enough. I am dropping it off at Allen&#39;s on Monday for a Speed Density tune, and some other work. Pick it up on Friday the 19th at SAR. Hopefully someone here is going to the track that night so I can hitch a ride (Jethro, Cody, Ducky or anyone else listening?).

FINALLY your getting the SD tune.

Im listening. You can hitch a ride with me if you want. I gotta put the truck in the shop on the 12th to get a dent out and get a touch up job, but it should be out before friday the 19th.

It was a black TBSS and it was in easter Pa i believe it was on rt 81 or 80, its been a coupple weeks, sounded mean as hell tho and looked damn good. I do like the idea of the v max and i definatly like the idea of the 4l65e and 14 bolt rear ( same as my silverado now). I just wish it came in a single cab version but i guess its more pratical anyways. Does anyone have any Track times on what a stock V max runs? like i said i am looking to get a truck and do some pretty nice upgrades, Id love to go with a turbo setup but for now a supercharger would be more pratical and i could probably have the dealer install it to keep the warenty. Do you know the compression ratio or about how much boost it could take stock? thanks

15.1-ish @ 89-ish 1/4 mile

10.x to 1 compression (I can&#39;t remember if it is .1 or .3)

10 - 12 lbs. I run 10lbs now.

o i never could get it to break em loose at all. guess that&#39;s a testament to how good of a tuner u have&#33; it&#39;s not a bad thing it wouldnt break them loose cuz as i said i predict itd be harder to drive a truck in which u can spin all 4 wheels and have no choice whether u can make them sticky before ur track run. As i stated they are all nice trucks and I&#39;d love to own all of them. I like the TBSS a lot too, Chevy didn&#39;t just slap the SS label on that one&#33; I&#39;m hoping for a 13.5 my first pass, but that may simply be wishful thinking. :nutz:
