I'm running the tci pn# 399753 plate, and rmvb is what I have with pro rachet shifter. Works well. I blew 5 full built 80es, I'm still on my first th400... Nothing special. Just a local bench build. Even if I didn't have the GV on it, I'd run one for the peace of mind.
do you leave off the transbrake or foot brake?

GV is a bolt on over drive. Nice but expensive. I found mine for a steal. It heats up a little after a Trans brake run. But never got over 180. I have 2 BM 30k super coolers with fans bc they are under my bed, and run about 150 on the street cruising at 80-180mphQuote:

oh gear vendors.. idk why i didnt think of that. Thanks for all the info. And 180mph is nuts!! What gears and size tires are you running? And what mph does your 3rd gear top out at and what rpm is that?
