i know id have to get gaskets and head bolts but it looks like they got everything else plus i need to do new springs nehow
Those would be a fantastic replacement. Just dont reuse the head bolts on those too.
lol i know ive learned..... im gunna get some arp head bolts. im just waiting to see what my tax return brings.... i know i didnt do the best with my cam but i been doing alot of reading and " paying attention" im just finally getting caught up in finances and can try and fix and upgrade stuff :) thanks guys for the help even trav and frenchy ;p
Is that price ($1234.99) for a pair or just for one? If for a pair, seems like a great price considering what you are getting. Flow numbers looks great! The reason I ask is I don't really see it specified in the listing other than it using the term "heads" in stead of "head" ... just wondering.
they're for the set as far as i can tell and you can have them custom worked to for the same price....
If you pay that much for those heads and couldn't afford to buy new head bolts let me slap you in the back of the head lol..
IMO I would not spend that much on a stock casting head. If you really want to see some good gains from stock heads, grab a set of 243 or 799 (same head just different castings) and get them cleaned up.

Look at the classifieds on LS1 tech. I paid 600 for my Patriots, and when I got them paid the machine shop 50 bucks to check them over.
