Yea, you definitely have a tight converter. You could make the truck perform better by complimenting that cam with a small diameter 3600+ rpm converter and spin the engine to about 67-6800 rpm. But as long as it's running good and you enjoy it, then just drive it! I'm doing the same thing you plan to do, lol. I have a RCSB 2001 Silverado that I'm going to put a turbo'd 5.3 with 80E in. Prob going to start tearing apart that thing this weekend. Hoipefully it will be my last project for a while...Quote:
