thanks for the advice. but summit raised there prices and they are 180 a piece without shipping. thats just way to much for a set of extra fun tires.

Yeah thats a little pricey. A buddy of mine runs federals, called couragia IIRC and he paid a lot less than I did for mine. They had knobbier tread to but wear slightly faster. Only like 130-140 a piece i believe for 31s.

16x8 rims with the 285/75s.basically 33's.

So what is the biggest tire you can run on a stock GM 5 spoke wheel? The common 16x7 ones?

265/75s for sure. idk if anything bigger than that will fit.

So I could mount a set of these fine? I was thinking about cranking the front end to level it out, align it and mount these. Maybe do some new shocks too, I don't want too rough of a ride.

285/75r16s should be the max recommended tire width on the stock rims.

So I'm safe with 285's or should I play it safe and just stick with the 265's?
