Flowmaster too LOUD!!!

Hey here is my video with pacesetter longtubes, 3" ORY and hooker aerochamber dumped. It was on a stock 5.3. Sounded reall quiet i thought.

I can see the seam where your 1/4 panel meets your roll pan

My LT1 powered 86 has 3/4 length headers, x-pipe and dual 2.5" Spintechs. Pipes are turned down right before the rear bumper. I absolutely love the sound. It is kinda "brassy" when you mash on it but absolutely no drone at highway speeds. I had Flowmasters 40 and 50 series on all of my previous trucks and was tired of the "drone" in the cab.

Chad..for reals man. Go for the loudest exhaust as you can get. If the dumped 'drone' is too much for your pansy arse, go with some sort of rear exiting tips.

You want your stereo competing with your exhaust, unless you like being sneaky then get a quiter muffler and a cutout
