The Fast & Furious thing was obviously a joke. And to get an Enzo today you will need over $1 million dollars since the production run in 2002 was only 399 units worldwide. That is why the Enzo is tops for me.
If I had the time and the money, I'd probably build the GTM kit car from Factory Five.
GTM Supercar
Around $40-$50K by the time you're done, including paint. Corvette motor and suspension, Porsche transaxle, only 2350lbs! Mid-mount motor for excellent weight distribution.
It looks good out of the box, but I'd say a slight bit tame for my tastes. However, add on the optional front fender louvers, splitter, and a rear wing, and THAT's what I'm talking about! It starts to look like a real GT-series car then.
Mostly Corvette drivetrain in a much, MUCH lighter package.
Vette's get the snot beat out of them at work.
The Enzo is a lot more than $920,000.
Lets get ahold of ourselves people. The Vette is 'our God', and we need to respect the legacy. Dont hate the player............without this car, we wouldnt have the LS1. The owners of the Vettes are a whole different story, tho, and I agree with everyone else about this post. They really are pricks, as far as I can tell
It's not the car that people don't like, it's the drivers (sometimes). I think they are great cars especially for what you pay for them. They will out perform alot of their competitors for a fraction of the cost and that's with the base model! The drivers on the other hand are right up there with some of the BMW, Merc & Jag owners that I've come across, not all, just some....
