Oh sweet picture, but sorry for being a newb. Whats its purpose or function back there
When you put enough force on a normal serpentine belt it will slip since the grooves are aligned with the direction of motion. The cog belt will not allow slip since the grooves are perpendicular to the direction of motion. Basically you can put a lot more force on the pulleys and spin it faster with the cog setup.
Called Gilmer Belt.
Well I guess I should update this thread. I'm still waiting for the blower, but the headers and exhaust are done. I put my neighbor's LS6 manifold on my truck so I can move it in and out of the garage.
I also sent that 10 rib kit back to ATI. It was a POS. The alternator pulley was cut too thin, so the bolt bottomed out on the shaft before it even touched the pulley. There were no bearings included, and the crank pulley was actually about a 2% underdrive. Not sure why you would ever build a 10 rib pulley kit in underdrive form.
Bought an 8 rib Innovator's West kit from Joe at Leftcoast32 with a heavy duty tensioner.
I talked to Brian at Magnuson yesterday and was told that the blower components have made it through machining and are on a cart to be assembled. He's hoping that they will ship by Wednesday.

damn looks awesome and sounds good
Finally got the blower yesterday :)
Here's my progress so far. Got the water pump inlet swapped over, all the pulleys mounted, made up a crappy temporary throttle cable and FPR bracket, got all the fuel lines run. Tomorrow I just gotta put the valley cover in (they shipped me an LS2 cover instead of the LS1) and swap engine harnesses with the new (used) one I'm picking up in the morning. Don't mind the rat's nest of wiring on the driver's side...it'll be gone tomorrow hopefully. I'll mess with the intercooler and all that crap when I get back from my trip, I wanna hear this bitch run!!
