correction to my last post, the rx7 was twin turbo. Sorry.
no problem i still wont to no witch ones lighter and i was also thinkin of goin turbo with the 240 but i was thinkin a rear mount
My buddy says a gen 2 RX7 is probably lighter but the weight difference is slim. Go for it, whats the final verdict on the engine? Still lookin?
stil looking dono if i wont to spend the money on a new l33 or try and find a ls1 around the same price or cheaper i dout it or if i wont to just give up and get a cheep lm7 but i will prob end up getin an ls2 block and stroking it in a fue years but i wont to get it runnin with one of the 3 first
Go ls1 and bore it. Its lighter and you can get the power you want. plus its cheaper than the ls2 and l33 and bigger than lm7 and l33.
You can't bore an LS1 more than .010 oversize. If you want bigger go LS2, L92 or LS3 for aluminum.
no and the l33 is not heaver than the l33 its the same dang motor but its not bored as much just has ls6 heads and a high lift cam with flat tops and ls1 ant cheap i have yet to find one cheaper than 1800
I meant lighter than the lm7. An old ls1 is more expensive than a newer l33, strange. I found this. Not sure if you want to go this route. 1300 for an LS2 alum bare block.
