I drove it around for 485.5 miles from a full tank and I refilled 22 gallons. That’s right at 22mpg. I drove it like I used to drive it. Hauling ass, mostly city stop and go driven and a bunch of 0-100 runs checking the A/F ratio. I still get 25mpg for my trip to and from work. Its all highway 70+mph mostly and its just about 50 miles there and 50 back.
So as it sits... 25mpg highway- 22mpg city. Before I got 17mpg highway- 15mpg city. I can’t believe the results. I am amazed. I have plans for making a smaller kit for motorcycles. If I can get a ninja 250 that already gets 75mpg to get a 20% increase that will bump it to 90mpg. 120mpg isn’t out of the question.
BTW I really appreciate all the compliments from yall. After I get paid on Friday, I will buy all parts for a second kit. Ill build it in my house, and find out the shipping weight. I will return all of your pm's about cost to build. David. I dont have the $200 for the gauge right now, but If I did I would buy it now.

I runs better than I thought. I was expecting a 20-30% increase but My dumb ass didn't do the math and THOUGHT it would be around 30mpg. Not saying I cant get there, but a 47% increase on the highway is FAR beyond what i thought It would do. As for Idle and accel... It Idles a little better, And the 0-60 feels about the same. However the exhaust doesnt crackle as much. Feels kinda like I have a gallon of 112 octane in the tank ya know?

honestly if the price was right i would buy a kit, 8mpg is outstanding, that would save me almost.... 20 to 30 a week in gas.

You have my interest as well, did some reading on the internet, and to be honest most of the sites looked like BS but on here I'm buying in.

I looked at this about a year ago and--- what I read then is that you would have to coat the internal combustion parts to keep them from corroding up. In your research have you come across anything like that? Other than that possible downfall it sounds like you have a good thing going.

That's a good question. I don't see why you would need to coat anything to protect from corrosion. the only bi-product of Hydrogen is Water. which would burn up in the combustion process. Which SHOULD cool the combustion chamber a little. If coating were necessary for things like that then methanol and water injection would also require a coating, Also there is some water present in gasoline too. The amount of hydrogen being mixed in the a/f only makes the mixture burn cleaner. IE less emissions. That HAS been proven. hydrogen burns cleaner than propane, Gasoline, natural gas, diesel, and most liquid based forms of fuel. Remember it also has an octane rating of 130 so performance benefits are present. And The part I like the most is your not storing it anywhere. as soon as it is made from the cell it get drawn into the intake of the engine. No accumulation of Hydrogen is a good thing.
