Are you sure all 8 injectors have gray clips on them? I remember your truck not having all 8 clips...

I found the problem a bit ago. when I hooked my narrowband up yesterday I hooked it to the pcm. I guess the pin for the high signal o2 senor go jerked. It was only half way in so it might not have been conectng and readng. that's why it was running like **** nd I hope that's why the codes got through. thnks for al the advice guys
Oh, helpful information to know. I don't know whats wrong with my engine. Its making a really bad knocking noise. Oh, BTW I changed the oil yesterday, what could be wrong?
did u put the drain plug back in? haha jk. yeah I didn't think bout that being the poblem bc the guage was worin fine. sorry I didn't menton tha geg.
I'll let it slide this time but next time...
Some guys prefer a simple fix over doing things like replacing connecters. Spliced wires look like ass and if not done correctly will cause more issues than the loose connection due it resistance in the wire/solder joint. A dab of silicone isn't even visible and holds solid. So :bsflag:back at ya buddy.
i guess. guess id rather do it correctly so that its not rigged up and half assed. im sure itd work but how much is the lil clip or does the fix require replacing the entire injector? even so im sure u can find a stock injector with clip cheap somewhere. since CHEAP seems to be what some prefer, why not go ahead and do it RIGHT at the same time. thats how i see it.
