So any reviews on this yet? Very interested just would like to hear some other opinions.
Somebody posted a link to this thread in the DenaliTruck.com forum in a thread about "The Mileage Monster"
This was my reply in that thread:

If this guys Hypothesis is correct, the 10 amps needed to run it is all that it could return to the alternator? This cell doesn't make electricity, it doesn't drain the battery. If this cell needed like 30amps... it still would not hurt anything. The only thing to consider is what the o2 sensors are reading. That's why you might need a EFIE or a tune to compensate for the lean reading from the o2's.
HHO makes the combustion process more efficient. It burns most of the fuel normal combustion misses. Yes gas is about 20% efficient, but thats when it comes to combustion. HHO is almost 100%. HHO and gasoline are not anywhere close to the same thing. So the same principals, rules, and limitations don't apply. There are a bunch of people getting positive results with HHO supplementation. On my for sale thread One customer reported 18% increase without an EFIE. I get over 30% better MPG. Whether or not someone understands how it works has no affect on if it actually works or not.
If people weren't getting results then these unit's use would have been quashed a long time ago. Remember when the fad was to tape the magnets to the fuel line to supposedly align the fuel molecules and improve fuel mileage? That was one I could not get a handle on, myself. A couple guys at work paid about $15 each a couple months ago for a commercially available clip on magnet for their cars, installed them and got absolutely no gains on fuel mileage. I had to laugh.
OK Top Dog....nice try...but Jeff is an upstanding and well known member here and we have seen the gains first hand.If he was scamming we would have hung his ass out to dry along time ago,and remember....this is an assisted kit not true hydrogen only.Thaks for your 2 cents anyway....LMAO!
:ban: <--- thats for your jeff. you damn scammer! praying on us poor souls to steal our money to use on European hookers.
BTW, nice first post. Are you an engineer?? Mechanical, electrical, industrial? Are you a degreed chemist? Did you quote Barnum to see if any suckers would believe your theories?
Basic chemistry and thermodynamics, you can't get more energy out of a system than you put into it.
BSc Mech Eng. PEng.
Whatever...
But how can you disprove facts if the author of this post ff_jeff has seen factual evidence that he has gotten better gas mileage from his own HHO kit?
There is one way to settle this, if someone has a scan gauge. They could do a before and after test, that would be almost impossible to refute.
So you have to come to our site join just to flame someone. Almost a hundred posts in this thread and you have to be the dildo to bring in something negative. Jeez with this many comments and none negative maybe you should think a little before you post some stupid crap like this.
You should also watch this video below several times.

Not trying to start a pissing contest but I think this is bull crap and needs to be handled appropriately. We as members of this site should not allow stuff like this.:nono:
From his flawed theory, everyone that owns a gas powered electric generator is an idiot because there is no way a gasoline powered device could create electricity, just as an electric device cannot create a fuel booster by using the excess power created and not used by an alternator to produce a gaseous substance that can enhance the combustion process of an ordinary gasoline powered vehicle. Ramble... where's my PhD? I've been an analyst way too long.
Ever noticed the first 4 letters in analyst, sometimes fitting
Anyway I have one of the kits, havent gotten around to installing yet but as others have mentioned Im sure if it wasnt an improvement he would of been washed off this board by now.
I am certain that if Jeff thought that it was a load of BS he would be the first to quit making and selling the kits.
I really could care less about your comments! None of us know you, and this board is a family of like minded hot rodders with fast trucks. Not some join as you like, and make waves by posting up crap you copied from the net site. Please take your sorry self back to your home forum. I am sure all the other engineers on your forum would love to discuss how (troll*internet copy/Lab"submissive breed"= Top Dog).
I take Jeff at his word, not because he and I are friends, because he has never given me any reason not to trust what he says.
However, you on the other hand come to our board and question one of our senior members without discussing the facts with him offline is a bit obtuse.
How would you like it if one of us trolled on over to your board boasting that all Denali trucks are slow heavy sleds of overpriced lead weight?
Question Jeff all you want to, like a man, in private. Not like a little girl calling him out as a scam artist on his home forum.
**Removed some of my less intelegent thoughts**
The more I think about you posting on our site the more pissed I get. I dont own an HHO kit and probably never will, unless I happen upon a plate that jeff wants to trade for one.
Really the bottom line is that if you think Jeff is ripping folks off, talk to him like a man on the phone. Given you are the "Top Dog" I am sure that every minute you spend typing has to be worth at least 1k out of your gold lined pockets.
Jeff is a outstanding person. He is far from a scammer or theif, the man saves lives for a living. Anyone who called him a scammer is now officially the new window licker of ls1truck. Hats off to Jeff for scamming us :)
LMAO. i bet if anyone really did some research this is some 12 yr old kid and his daddy tried to build a hydrogen kit for his civic and it didnt work and now hes all butt hurt about it so he decided since daddys didnt work no ones did, and oh btw is impossible you cant get out of it what you have in it, are you a ****ing retard? ive saw these things work in person and if you think your gonna join on the site and make 2 posts and sway us all over against jeff, whom we know and trust? your about a damned retard. i pity you and anyone that has to live/ put up with you.
Well put gentlemen! I really love Gregs theory on this......ROFL!!!Once agian TopDick......think before speaking on our forum and read what it says.....Its a booster, hence adding to or boosting the fuel source!10 amps out of a minimum of 90 amps is a whole lota amps left over to work with...
Actually I thought the scan gauge just plugged into the OBD2 port. Either way, I was suggesting that you get an HHO kit. Since you already have the scan gauge.
btw. We are talking about the same unit, aren't we?

ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool
Top Dog...there are enough write-ups on here and elsewhere on the internet for anyone considering purchasing a kit from Jeff to make an informed decision. He has researched this and posted his findings and his results. Surely you can find something positive to post about elsewhere on the site. In turn, this thread can stay on track.
Im pretty sure any scan gauge will work, I was just referring to my interceptor gauge. But yeah I guess your right that they do just plug into the OBDII port, so there really isnt much wiring at all lol.. Im contemplating getting the HHO kit for my s10, but I want to spend the money on my other baby first lol
You guys rock. Once again I'm glad I am part of this great group of guys... even Danny too. I do agree about the scan gauge test though. I will be buying my own as soon as I get the cam installed. HIC the Plate idea might work out.
As for FI use of My cells... I will be developing a test kit for buses and maybe even fire trucks soon.
I found this vid on Youtube, of an HHO equipped Duramax.
YouTube - Chevy Duramax Turbo Diesel - HHO Road Test
yeah, If you look at other vids... people are using the scan gauge to read the rear o2's. When they test an efie, they watch the reading it gives and adjust it on the fly. I have seen what HHO does to o2 readings one the net... But I myself haven't seenit in person. Hence why I test everything first before I tell y'all about it. I don't mind being a test dummy, I just like to research as much as possible before I do field tests.
FYI I have found out My cell is not for everyone. My little brother wanted one for his 07 Dodge Caliber. I looked and looked and thought. There just wasn't allot of room under the hood. I might could hide it behind the bumper, I will try after Xmas because its parked until he returns from IRAQ.
kinda offtopic but any opinions on that scangauge over the previous mentioned interceptor (i think it wa scalled that???)
Im mostly interested in something giving me a mpg read out any other features are mere bonuses.
Thats what I am getting. An inteceptor. It does everything. Not sure how accurate the MPG is. I will test it too i guess lol.

i love my setup, ive got 2.the mpg is spot on as well.
hey SPORT91 i could show ya my setup in person if interested
:D
yep thats me lol, give me a week tho.im sending my old one back to get reflashed(updated).ill let ya know when i get it back in tho :D
