Here's the problem....the obs flywheel has standard threads. The pressure
Plate bolts are shouldered so they center the clutch assembly on the flywheel. The nbs flywheel has dowel pins that center the pressure plate. It uses metric bolts. To use the obs clutch on a nbs flywheel you have to remove the dowel pins, and the metric bolts arent shouldered...and I believe you have to ream out the holes on the obs pressure plate for the metric bolts to go through
It. So now what keeps everything perfectly centered? some people don't have any problems with it but Iv got too much into my build to gamble on something like that

Thanks for the info man! So running the LS 4.8 clutch with the Sachs 1050 will solve that issue?
Yessir.
Just an FYI that cam seems (based off duration and lift) to be very similar to comp's LS 54-455-11 that I put into my 5.3. It's a 215/223 0.604"/0.61" 112+5LSA. I haven't finished my swap, but heard that properly tuned it is a torque monster in a 5.3.
Looking forward to seeing progress on this one. I'm using a 5.3 and NV3500 as well, but I'm going carb for my set up.
