Yep.
wasnt aware there was different brands of c16.............
Yes the amount of ethanol injected into the cylinder gives it awesome cooling and burns hot which helps spool a little faster
VP is the one you're referring to... Sunoco makes an equivalent and is what I was running. $8 a gallon when I was using it vs $12ish for VP.
The fact that E85 is 35% oxygenated has nice benefits..
It also smells better then regular gas. But not as good as c16
hey chevylee i noticed you are "dbrods secretary" we got a name for secretaries around here...
Is it worth running on a n/a w full bolt ons in a nbs truck w a tune???
Area47 is an extended cab truck, below is his signature from pt.net. I really like his truck and he comes off as a cool guy.
For comparison my truck was running 13.4s @ 103s with out headers in 95 degree heat.
I heard he has done a lot of tuning and switched to the e85, but I rarely ever get on that forum any more so I haven't been keeping up with his truck.
12.7s sound nice from a bolt-on ec 6.2 though.
2010 ecsb 6.2 2wd | 379/401 | 13.32@103.01.{2010 time, has gone faster}
Kooks 1 7/8's LT's | catted 3in y | magnaflow muffler | k&n drop in filter | Airaid M.I.T. | ported ls7 tb | my personal tune
Edit: And I am with the majority of the guys who posted in front of me that it really isn't needed N/A.
