i used to shoot pro class in archery. i cant shoot anywhere near what i did back then, but then again i dont shoot 5-7 hours a week anymore. once i shot a deer with a bow, i havent shot a deer with a rifle since. on the coldest or wettest days i will grab a gun and sit in a blind with the heater, but i havent had to pull the trigger on one.
in the off season i grab the bow fishing bow and go bowfishing. if youve never done it, give it a try. it is a BLAST! here is my 55lb alligator gar i shot 2 weeks ago.
