Ha...I forgot about that one. That is another one that makes me laugh.
For the record, it's "lengths" guys. ie: "You lost to my Titan by 3 car lengths"...

Don't forget "are" and "our". We're going to work on are trucks today.
I took my 862 cylinder heads in to get the valves ground and the seats re-cut. Oh, and the deck surfaces were milled as well. Anyways, the fellow that accepted the heads when I dropped them off asked if I had the new ''Valve Seats.'' I made him repeat it twice... Then I asked him to indicate with his finger where exactly this part should be located on the head. He pointed to the machined surface where the base of the valvesprings rest. I said, ''Oh, you mean the valve springs seats/seals.'' He said... ''No, they are called valve seats man, trust me...I've been doing this for 20 years.'' Luckily at this time the actual ''Head'' expert showed up and assured me ''That guy will never touch a set of cylinder heads as long as I am employed here.''
Terminology....
Carter Key - Cotter Pin <<<< Most often confused terms ever. You hear stuff like ''Cotter Key.''
What about slang words.
I tumpt the trash over.
i wish people would get back to building killer turbo trucks! ps, I will never forget to use spell check again. sorry to all who are offended, i beg of thee forgiveness.
Just for the record, I don't take offense to the spelling and grammar errors. I just read some posts and try to figure out what people are trying to say. I do like helping people out but I can't do that when I can't decipher what they type.
