1st gen 4wd s10

sweet. its got potential. I can just see it slammed with a tubbed bed, narrowed rear end and slicks.....

didnt read that part. in that case check out my build.(in sig) havent posted the recent updates on it on this site but I will soon. I wouldnt go with a th350 since you can build a 4l60e for cheap, but thats just my opinion.

for your questions

oil pan-h3 alpha pan(lh8) fits without cutting and only hangs a little below the frame(an inch or less). the truck pan fits with a little cutting but hangs 2 or more inches down below the frame, and with more cutting the f-body pan and ls2 vette pan fit and dont hang at all. no other stock pans fits.

headers-shorties can be had at currentperformance.com, s10v8.com, carshopinc.com, and ebay, sandersons fit perfect. mids can be had at brphotrods.com and fit with steering shaft modification. long tubes are also at brphotrods.com and fit well if your not running ac, though you will need to reroute brake lines.
