Exactly. Toyota is doing a voluntary recall versus being mandated by the NHTSA to require a recall. Its actually a good move on Toyota's part.

I am renting a Corolla right now. Not worried. If it sticks I will just turn the key off.

True, but also 18 deaths from sticking pedals. (was on news this am)

Now that this is a recall and several deaths. SHEEESH! Thats alot of loot going to those families. They are just trying to keep themselves from being sued out of business

they built a junk product they get what they deserve. its sorta like that movie with Micheal keaton from the 80s

actually the bad part was part produced and supplied from an american company. i guess thats what toyota gets for trying to outsource work to american companies. and a junk product would not become a number one auto manufactorer in the world.

Ummmmm, this has been an issue since last fall. You're right I was wrong, it's 19 deaths.
