Update, FINALLY got them damn valve springs and got the engine all together yesterady. Placed a big order to Jegs last week, that stuff is going to be here Wednesday. That was clutch, flywheel, front accessory drive, E-fans, Edelbrock shorties. Just gotta get a wiring harness ASAP! If all goes as planned it should be running by next Sunday! :hyper2:

Still a few odds and ends to get, but it's finally coming together! Hoping to have the engine in and running by next weekend. Gotta modify my transmission a bit, the bottom of the case is about 1/4-3/8" too low so I can't get my oil plug out. Just gonna take a bit of a U out of it so I can change the oil in the engine. Still gotta clean it up a bit before I put it in, the oil pan is still a bit grimy.

No e-test you should have gotten some long tubes and an off road y. I'm smart and figured out a way around the test so that's what I'm doing. Sweet old farm plates.

Update:
The engine and trans are in the truck for good! Things left on the to do list, modify fuel lines, install new clutch master cylinder, gotta get all the front clip on, bumper, rad support, grille, lights, etc.
Still waiting on the wiring harness. Found one at a performance shop in Maine, should have it by the end of the week hopefully. Still gotta find some coils, shouldn't be a problem though, gonna call the wreckers tomorrow. Other than that, it's getting close! :D

dude, i woulda done the fuel lines while the engine was out - much easier to get to. same with the engine harness

Got all my rad/heater hoses, dipstick tube/indicator. Harness is in, just gotta swap the injector plugs from the T/A harness to the truck harness, lengthen my alternator plug. Coils, plugs and wires in. Gotta rig up my power steering pressure line somehow, got an idea that should work. Other than that, bolt up the crossover pipe, dump some oil and antifreeze in her and it should be ready to fire up. Man there's a lot of little things you never think about until you go stumble across them when installing and hooking up! Thought this would be running a long time ago. Should be really soon though!

Well Shaun, it should run by now. Unless the earthquake shook it all apart
