I was surprised everything in it seems to work really well! Wipers washerfluid motor tank switch all lights except one marker light. 4wheel drive works good but that damn one tire fire blows!!! I forgot how bad that sucks lol seems the harder i ran it the better it starts to run but it had been sitting so that could be part of it. I thought about getiing a set of exrtra heads i have redone and throw those on and a lil cam when i replace the intake gasket and put headers on
Alright guys lets say i decide to do a 5.3 swap but i want to keep my current running gear how hard would it be? Im pretty goods at making mechanical stuff work but electrical stuff to me is a nightmare! I would also want to use factory gauges and all.
Guy here in town has an 86 cutlass with a 5.3 hes runnin a powerglide with no problems.
Most all had the THM700R4 by then. Hell, even the '82 4WD diesel I had the other day was a 700.
Well it says it came with one originaly but shows 3gears on the colum and the trim panels beneth the colum are unbolted so maybe it was shitched out. In the records i have it says the trans was replaced but doesnt say with what. The trans pan is not square/rectangle like a 700 it has one corner lobed off like a 350 or a 400.

Yeah idk why i was thinking the 350/400 had the same pan i know better than that lol
