duramax?

New here and thought that this might enlighten the group...

i have a 2003 2500hd 6.0...ive always wondered about a diesel but never had the budget to resell...does anyone sell used duramaxs with the ally or how much do new ones go for( im guessing about 5)

5 might get you a used engine or a used Allison but not both. A new DMax in the crate is well north of $10K and a new Allison from GM is about $8K.

BTW, your gas engine 2500 is worth about the same as a diesel trade value because it's old enough to be wholesaled and wholesalers don't want diesels.
