When us guys get together this month I will take it for a spin. But if I do a swap it will not go in stock. I will build it up before I drop it in.

I like this one sounds sweet.. Who makes HPE cams anyways
Well the thing is with the 4.8 is that you have to sacrifice one thing for another... What are you willing to sacrifice? or You can make up the loss by doing another mod that will help the lower end. With the cam that i told you about, it Sounds great.. like i said, when i had the Idle set in the 600's, people new it was in there. People would compliment my truck for how healthy is sounded(granted i have turndowns right BEFORE the rear axle as well.), and that it was nice to here a newer truck with a lope..AND on the top end, the truck Screams... But the drawback is that the low end suffers a little bit.. For me, i had a 5 speed tranny switched that out to a 6 speed, and now am planning to put 4:11's in the rear, which will help my lower end ALOT.. Plus in the future i would like to have my heads matched, witch should help out with the lower end a bit too.. If you want more lower end power, i would recommend long tube headers, under drive pulley kit, and a cam with at least a 114 LSA(lobe separation angle) those three things will all help you lower end.. Electric fans would probably help your low end too, since thats the only time your fan is used more or less...
This is what My cam SHOULD sound like. YouTube - ASA cam in ls1
And this is a better vid of it. ASA cam idlerev - Putfile.com
Jeff is that a cam with identical specs to the GMPP ASA cam, or is it the GMPP cam? Really just wondering about pricing!
Out of the 4 vids, I only watched the 405 hp Camaro. To me it sounds like a bigger than stock cam with no tuning. You want it to sound like that or run good?
