ill be getting a new tune in a couple days and hopefully all this will go away. i just want to make sure that these new codes arent something major!!
well, even after getting the tune and new acdelco sensors its still throwing the codes so i just went and ordered some bosch vette sensors like a couple guys said to do a while back. hopefully this will get rid of all thats goin on!
mitch!
when you get those sensors in lemme know what happens if you will please!...i just ordered dynatech supermaxx header system tonight bout an hour ago...did some research and found this to be a problem for some...what im wonderin is if i get this system and have the same problem im just goin for the vette sensors..so please keep me informed...thank you very much!!

i wont be putting them in, i just assumed they would have the same connector bu its way different. so ill be returning them.
ahhh...thank you anyways...it was worth a try...good luck...ill post back with what i have to come!!

IT'S BACK!!!!!! when Allen was tunning everything was perfect, then today right after i filled up the light is back on. its still the same 1133 and 1153 codes. does anyone have any ideas of what i could do?
Read this.... GearChatter.com :: View topic - DTC P1133 or P1153
Unfortunately, the o2's are feeding the pcm this signal. I can't alter it or I would. The o2's report back to the pcm so the pcm can trim fuel, if the readings from the o2's to the pcm are not in spec, it will set these codes.
You can't really "tune" for o2's, you can turn the codes off so no ses light will appear, but the issue is still there.
let us know, we'll keep trying,
#PIP3809C: SES Light - Inspect wire Harness For Short On Front Drive Shaft - (Feb 12, 2009) Subject: SES Light - Inspect Wire Harness for Short on Front Drive Shaft

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may complain of an intermittent crank no start, no crank, SES light, and/or security light. Upon inspection, the technician may find low fuel pressure and/or any of the following DTCs: P0030, P0036, P0050, P0053, P0054, P0056, P0059, P0060, P069E, P0102, P0113, P0118, P0131, P0132, P0135, P0137, P0140, P0141, P0161, P0230, P0335, P0341, P0151, P0152, P0155, P0157, P0158, P0161, P0171, P0172, P0174, P0175, P0449, P0452, P0532, P0641, P069E, P1133, P1153, P1682, P2101, P2534, and/or P2544.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, inspect the wiring harness above the front drive shaft for a potential short to ground, near the transfer case side of the front drive shaft as shown below. Repair any chaffed wires by following SI repair procedures.
The harness should be secured to a supporting bracket with a plastic clinch style clip. If the harness has contacted the front drive shaft because of a missing retaining clip, secure the harness to the metal fuel line bracket with a tie strap to prevent a reoccurrence. If the retaining clip is present but contact still occurred, relocate the inboard clip (part of the wiring harness) and tie strap the harness to prevent a reoccurrence.
Look at the release/update date on this one.
Circuit/System Testing
Important: All modules must be powered down or misdiagnosis may result.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the scan tool and wait 60 seconds to ensure all modules are powered down.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate HO2S.
Ignition OFF, measure for less than 5 ohms between the appropriate HO2S low signal circuit terminal A and ground.
⇒ If more than the specified range, test the appropriate HO2S low signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
Ignition ON, verify the appropriate scan tool HO2S parameter is approximately 450 mV.
⇒ If more than the specified value, test the appropriate HO2S high signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
⇒ If less than the specified value, test the appropriate HO2S high signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
Ignition ON, install a 3A fused jumper wire at the HO2S high signal circuit terminal B. Toggle the jumper wire between the HO2S low signal circuit terminal A and battery voltage. Verify the appropriate scan tool HO2S parameter toggles between 0 mV and approximately 1,000 mV.
⇒ If the appropriate scan tool HO2S parameter does not toggle correctly, test the HO2S high signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the ECM.
If all circuits test normal, replace the appropriate HO2S.
Did you put anything on the threads of the O2's when they were installed/repalced? If so, it's possible the sensors are contaminated. It comes down to switching. The test for P1133 and P1153 only run once per ignition cycle. I think either the heaters in the sensors aren't working (lack of voltage or ground to the heaters or the sensors are bad/incorrect) or the headers are shedding too much exhaust heat to properly get the sensors warm for rich lean switching.
