My uncle used to have a small engine shop. I used to ride with him in his 65 stepside Chevy with a 400 small block and small cam when he made deliveries. Buy it new for $425-525. You need the TT2600 TT3000. The 60E trans has a 3.06 first gear so I'd say the 2600 would be o.k.

Ducky man 562$ shipped to your door brand new, 150$ more than a used one to have the peace of mind of new parts and a warranty i was in your same position about 2 weeks ago could of got a used one for a little cheaper but was leary about it but this trucks my daily driver so i cant have it breakin down all the time.
