ok...just redid all my grounds, they are in the factory locations now...along with my hand being tore up from getting the one on the drivers side and the back of the block....anywho still having the same problems....i dont have the back o2 censors plugged up cuz i had nelson turn them off, they arent used for a ground are they?
-
Damn---yeah, I should have told you to take the intake off first... Whoops! Sorry...
Ok, did you UNPLUG the O2s from the harness, or are they just hanging around or tucked in the frame? You must completely unplug them. I would also go check and see what kind of voltage readings you get from the engine water temp sensor---the sensor at the front driver's side of the block up by the #1 spark plug... Unplug it and start the truck--then measure the voltage--if it is all over the place, you know it's the wiring and not the sensor...
-
will the voltage change or just the ohms?....the back 02 sensors are completely unplugged.
-
yeah, my bad--just the Ohms. If the reading from the wiring harness connector is all over the place, it's the harness. If not, the water temp sensor is bad. There is a ground just below the water temp sensor...is that bolted down correctly?
-
yeah...all three grounds on the harness are in the right place....i made sure of that last night.
