Nitrous,
I have used TransDapt plates for my motor mounts, they shoved my motor back 1.250. I had to use the 5.3L truck right side exhaust manifold to clear the rear upper a-arm mount. Is this common, and will your layout work for this?

Yes, that is common. The passenger side header I'm building will clear the upper control arm with plenty of room. The problem I see with any long tube header is the amount of movement the engine makes with the stock motor mounts. My engine torques to the right close to 3/4" with a good hook up. I'd recommend a good urethane mount to restrict engine movement or strap the motor to the frame on the drivers side to keep the header from hitting the passenger side upper control arm but then again you might be ok.
Any current information or news on the headers?
I wasn't happy with the tubing for the passenger side so they're supposed to be sending me some new tubing. Didn't quite have the bends I needed. I have the drivers side tacked together so I'll try to get some picks when time permits. My regular work has me overwhelmed right now.
any news?? pics
Sorry for the late reply but I sent them a complete header for the passenger side and they are working on matching the tubing bends. Hopefully I'll hear something soon.
Can't wait to hear the results. :thumb:
More progress, here's the passenger side so far. These are tacked pieces for the template and the collector isn't installed. The pieces you see by the collector are just rings to hold the 4 tubes inplace while building the template. The collector is just sitting below them. I didn't take pics of the passenger side but it will moreless look like the headers on my truck pics in my sig but 1 3/4" tubes and long tubes. The header flanges are laser cut 3/8" thick.

nice very nice :D
you need to make me some headers, those look better than most mass produced headers.
