Bad O2 sensors...?

Sooooooo... Long story, short: Have Allen "tune out" the codes the PCM is throwing??? And since the codes will be gone, does Allen have to program a standard A/F ratio for the PCM, or will it figure that out on its own? Moze, I would be weary on spending ~$200 on O2 sensors. Yeah, you might get away with putting the Vette rear O2 sensors in your front O2 sensor locations--from what I read--looks like it fixed some problems for other people---temporarily. That might/might not be your fix. Or if you said you need to go back to Allen anyway, have him tune those codes out... :twocents:

Yeah, the fact that all four are throwing codes makes me think it's a singular issue affecting all four. Just need to figure out what it is.

I googled the 13111 sensors and you can get the pair for $100 if you shop around. :thumb: That's cheaper than a round trip to SanAntonio.

Did you check for blown fuses?

I haven't checked the fuses. The sensors were showing occasional voltage once in a while, so I figured if it was the fuse, it would be all or nothing.

Are the Thorleys coated on the inside?

Have you run any fuel additives through the system lately?

Yeah, maybe &#036;100 is better than driving to SA... When you can, check the fuses like Red said. If everything checks out there, then do the Vette rear sensors...

Yeah I don&#39;t think this requires a trip to S.A. He could always send me a retune with them deleted.

I&#39;ll check the fuses and get out to TRT tonight and go from there.

So what was the outcome? I found my issue that had been throwing codes in my truck tonight. The culprit was bad wiring from the PCM to the water temp sender. Get this, the PCM was telling me that the problem was the TPS. Tonight I started it up and it said hi voltage reading in the water temp sender. She purrs like a kitten with the new wires. :thumb:
