Ok im gona step in here and say YOU ARE AN IDIOT! you just compared a lsx GMPP crate motor to a private BBC builder. EVERYONE know all crate motors are CRAP! they are built for the "rich idiot that wants a 100% gm motor" that lsx 454 does NOT have a "big cam" it does NOT have "awesomly ported heads" all the parts in it are way over priced and dont match. Do you really think that a crate motor will hang with a fully built (and built right) 525ci BBC? NO they wouldent! you would have to be retarded to think that. Quit comparing apples to oranges. Yes if you want to run 6's N/A then you go with a big block, but seriously who give a flying fk if its N/A, i sure dont and thats all that really matter to me.

I thought we was comparing PUMP GAS engines!! what happened, coundn't find any, had to go search full out RACE LSX engines.. LOL.

That LSX 15:1 compression full race engines. 11,000 rpm LSX engine is impressive, but for a full out race pro stock style build, it's nothing to a Chevy rat

Sorry, but no one builds a BBC to have a dinky 400-460 something cubes.. so live with it.

scotty, you have a total of 26 posts that all came from this thread. you dont know sht about lsx motors. why are you running your mouth like you are the all knowing of all that is engines. the man made a valid point and you chose to acknowledge his grammer. the fact of the matter is, no one on this board gives a dam about bb in their trucks. everyone on here is 100% aware that big blocks exist and what they are capable of. if someone really wanted to run a bb in their truck they wouldve done it a long time ago. everything you have said to this point has absolutely no meaning with the single intention to validate yourself as a hotrodder. And yes you are correct, I don't know jack **** about LS engines, I with I knew 10% of what most people here know about them.. most I have done is take apart my LQ9..

I'm not some Nissan guy here claiming my truck is better, I own a 2000 Z28 ls1 and 2002 Silverado 5.3 LS vehicles. So I have as much right here as you do.
. I'm also a Chevy guy and will defend the BB Chevy too. I know what they can do

love the ls engines.. but I'll not be blinded by thinking they are superior to all . close maybe!
when ones gets on any Chevy forum (LS, SBC BBC, 6cy, diesel etc) , and talks down a BBC expect a debate! Chevy guys defend Chevy's! Us older ones know what BBC can do as well as the LS.
