Ls2 4l70e with 3000 stall awd 4.10s
Waiting for his loan to be finalized.. My cash is ready!
Trying too... Ive had bad luck with deals fallen thru but this time cash did talk :)
Well I got my cash ready just waiting for his loan to be approved for my truck... I smashed on a mr2 turbo'd last night in it... He was tellin me the viper story lol... Too funny huh... Bet that set that man into midlife crisis...
Ya it definatley surprised viper dude haha I wish I would have got it on video but I was a little too late.. I've known Jesse for a while and he is a really good dude.. He let me use the SAAB for a few days while he was tuning my truck and I didn't care for it at first but it really grew on me. He has taken very good care of that truck inside and out. I even ran a 12.97 with a 1.76 60' in it back when it had the 3600 stall. I've ran him a couple times in my truck and it runs very good. And it's awesome that it's AWD so you don't have to worry about traction as much. Have you joined TBSSowners yet? I wish you could have it for the tune day this weekend!!
This was when i was intake, headers, no tune..The SAAB and RCSB started in 1st and I started in 3rd so they got a huge jump..

Ya it's pretty rare to even see a SAAB suv but Expecially 9-7x's. I've only seen Jesse's and one other one ever and I drive all over DFW every day. Most people know what a TBSS is but very few know what the 9-7x is.. You'll love it man. I hope everything works out as far as getting it and everything. You may see if he still has the pacesetters and y for it. Maybe he'll throw it in with the deal.
Is anyone going to be doing Mexico racing after the tune day? I'm not going to race, just seeing who all was..
My truck's to slow to make it all the way to Mexico.
Dallas Raceway is open Friday and Saturday nights, but only for the IHRA events.
I have Bo calling his buddy to see if they are going to have 7 points open Saturday night.
Updated first post, 3:40PM slot is filled.
There are only 2 spots left open and I have several curb kickers thinking about it so I need your info if you're wanting one of those spots.
Anyone know where to get good BBQ near dallas. Haha
Inside my smoker.
Looks like I won't be making it, my replacement horsetank aka above ground swimming pool, showed up today and we have to get it up to beat this 100+ degree heat. Hope to catch up with y'all next time and maybe by then my truck will be running like a top.
No show as well
Going to be some bad ass bbq being put down, didn't sleep last nigh, 6 briskets and about 40 lbs of sausage.
Thanks to everyone who showed up to get a tune, party and hang out.
It was a great time and the tune day went flawlessly.
Allen, Ray and Jeff you guys did an outstanding job working through the trucks and cars.
I don't know who is the happiest, but I have heard back from 7 of the people who were tuned and all of them are raving about it.
Not mentioning any names, but some previously tuned trucks got straightened out.
Especially the 07 White Extended Cab 5.3 with full bolt-ons that was previously tuned and running 15.3s, haha I know that thing is in the 14s now because it is moving out!
The 06 2500 HD with 6.0 improved so much he sent me a text yesterday and said it ran so good he wanted to pull over on the side of the road and jerk off on his ECM.
Lmao.
That was one badass tuning session. Non stop all day!! Not just saying this, but every truck ran great!
Ray can install our wideband with his eyes closed and all I saw was timing tables last night while sleeping.
Thanks again kevin for setting it up!! Glad to hear all the tuned truck owners are happy with the results.
no pics form the bbq and party.....
Lame !!!
Congrats for that tuning session. Now you got Kuwait and a couple of other countries in schedule !
That white was only bolt ons? Damn! It was a beast sounded evil too when he ripped it and u could hear him from the hwy!
Guess the sierra rcsb was everyones most impressed pick up after tune?
definitely liked the red sierra, for what it was, and keeping all things even and relative, definitely turned out nice!
the 6.2L denali was pretty cool too. those shifts turned out badass, normal at crusing and firm at wot, but not too violent.
Here are a list of his mods, don't mind the last sentence...I guess he just likes the Nelson Performance tune better than what he had and that list is growing and growing.
Basically he has headers, cai, vette servo, muffler and a Nelson Tune.
