I'm not sure why it matters. Oh no you can't swear. You have to think and use proper English. SCARY. I dunno, maybe I was raised ass backwards by today's standards. I was always taught to think about everything I say and to consider my audience. I work on a farm (albeit a massive corporate farm) swearing around the people that are on the same side of the business I'm on is expected, around the office people, not gonna happen. First couple times meeting someone, never. Around the fairer sex, never (no matter how they speak). Around older family members, never. It's just common decency. Besides when you swear every third word out of your mouth you look like an ass backwards white trash swamp rat.

x2 when im on the rig every other word out of my mouth is bad lol but when im with family i dont cus alot maybe be the d word but thats it around friends i use a little more language but not a whole lot unless im mad then the oil field talk starts lol. and at the office its a BIG no no

Haha!! Yeah roughnecks dont have time to stop and think about what they are saying. They just blurt out whats on their mind with every other word being a cuss word. And when I go out in public I catch myself mouthing freely and people look at me like WTH. Lol thats the oilfield for ya!!

Gimme a break people. No one, and I mean no one, swears more than I do when Im able to do so. But it's just common courtesy and respect to others to refrain when the situation warrants it. Everyone acts like their 'freedoms' are being restricted because of the basic laws and rules of society that were put in place a long time ago by people with much more going on up top than any of us. But what no one takes the time to realize, is that all the great values that were instilled within us (most of us at least) at a young age were based upon restraint from your normal instincts. Laws and values are one of the few things that separate us from wild animals. Be a man, show some self control.......or at least just use the first letter of each curse word (wtf) :rofl:
