See there, thats the rub. My PCM is the stock truck pcm and the ID segment for the tune is the truck PCM ID. The engine tune is the 4.8L factory tune, nothing changed other than a NP tune loaded in it. I put the factory PCM and TCM in the truck and I cannot do a 2bar or 3bar OS upgrade on the PCM. I cannot do the 2.5bar OS tune either. I sure wish they'd get their crap straight because I think I may have damaged my rings running this tune even with the timing turned way down to almost nothing. Its parked now unit HPTuners gets the 2007 NNBS GMT900 tune setup to do some kind of tuning for boosted engines.
idle clip was posted. Here it is again.

damm thats mean, that tail pipe come with hangers?
Nope, it's two piece so you can move it how you want it. Its hanging off the turbo for now, until I can find some hangers.
sounds good greg
Do you happen to have a picture of your catch can mount without the catch can? I have mine hanging from the ground bolt on firewall next to the brake booster....looks like CRAP. I want to reroute that when I do the cam/heads.
sure don't, it was just a piece of scrap material I had laying around and I just slapped it together.
Allen, here is what I was talking about. This is my bone stock tune downloaded from the truck the day I bought it. Notice that OS upgrades are unavailable.

Ya, custom OS, not anytime soon, I know it sux.
well Mics tahoe was 2008 had a cam and 10psi??... I didnt figure the OS was holding back the NBS trucks that much... I been told they are a pain to tune
Well, the STS oil pump bit the dust and had to install the friggin expensive Exapump for durability. Hopefully will never see oil blowing out my tailpipe ever again. Get your minds out of the gutter.
My mind didn't go to the gutter until you said not to. Don't press the big red button.
hows the progress on this? did you ever figure out a way to tune for boost? why not use the maf or are you exceeding the hz ?
ive thought of turboing my 2010 but havent looked into the tuning aspect yet. i know flaco has a customer that made almost 900 rwhp with a GMT900 truck
Installed a tune from a 2008 silverado and now have it 2 bar tune, no MAF. The factory MAF tune did not respond correctly unless you were WOT. It burned up my 408 pistons during a half throttle run. Running the stock 4.8L engine plus 42 lb injectors with 10 lbs and running good. Ran a 8.48 at the track a few weeks back. Waiting to get it tune a little more. Needs more fuel pump, too. I need to upgrade pumps, thinking about the Aeromotive Eliminator http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-pa...pump-assembly/ pump.
There still is no support for the 07 GMT900. :nutz:
i have had alot more luck with a blow through maf than draw through...easier to controll IMO...
Redheartbeat..
why not go with the ZO6 maf card and cut the tables in half and double the frquency of the maf?? dont have to wory about pegging ias easy..instead of 15000hz....30000hz
I am getting ready to re-do the whole setup. I'll take it into consideration. I'm not quite sure how you go about splitting the MAF range, though. Is there a writeup somewhere on how to do that?
