as ap stated I got there 15 mins before track closed I was hoping for one nitrous pass and once I opened the bottles my nitrous line had a hole in it thanks to the muffler guy that had just finished welding on my exhaust. No thats not it at all. I thing some of the best looking trucks come out of there. Also some of the fastest. Just post who I was referring to. I love the slammed on stock wheels look. I have thought about throwing some stock NNBS GMC's on ,mine.

good to meet everyone friday at allens and saturday at the track..the best run for me was :
12.79 at 112 with a sorry ass 60' but had a great time seeing everybody again.

Had a great time and got to meet a bunch of new people. :thumb: I hope everyone had a good time.

It was a pretty good time! Nice meeting everyone, the track staff was being super homo about everything but i guess thats just how they run it. Should be some faster times for sure next year

My first pass was 11.48 @121 w traction impaired 1.97 60ft, clogged meth nozzle, low timing and 150 IATs. We got the meth nozzle unclogged and talked to track manager to allow another pass but track hooked so hard it shattered the u-joint on my launch. Glad I had drive shaft loop and that it's an easy fix. We packed up and headed to 6th street in Austin and had a great time. Can't wait till the day truck can run hard and leave under it's own power.

I spent the day thinking the reg cab red Coly was your truck. I thought you were having serious issues. Like the sound of a 5 cyl. I saw the big truck pull up. Thought it was the same tower for Casper last year. But couldnt be for sure. I walked right by. Wish I would have stayed a few more min to see the real truck!

Sorta sucks to pull you hotrod to a race 3 hours away that you know is broke and expect to make it threw the day .. How about you fix your trans and make a Post I am sure myself or flaco and find time for ya :) Since Flaco owns every title out there for these trucks I am going after him for fastest 99+ chevy truck on leafs

i didn't have a whole year, i had a few hours friday night, with no resources open. the trans was working, from my last post, we discovered the valve body was junk and circle d said the converter was in good condition.
but the night of the gtg at my shop, i think the planetary broke, something hard definitely broke in the middle of first gear.
so there was no way it was gonna be fixed, plus my trans guy was in houston that night.
i'll be getting a fully built PG this time, i'll over do it! 2000hp capable, lol.
i'm tired of transmission problems!!!

ya, let's meet up, i have a ton of catching up to do for the next two weeks, but i plan on getting the truck back on the road.

Just FIY.... in a glide there is a band that holds drum that is your first gear.... The planetary is the direct .... I Have a good friend who pulled his truck three hours to houston for a Big dog meet only to find the bandstrut had failed and no low gear..... he made 5 passes with high gear only and went on to win the race running 4.9s@150 what a good story :)

now that, thats taken care of, it was great meeting you guys and seeing some other again, my truck did awesome thru the 1/8th but, that was it. completely off the gas i was still running a 12.4-5 so im not upset at all, also having trans issues, ill get this tune figured out and see if i can hit mid 11s up here in OK, i was just glad to make it and actually go down the track, and thanks to Allen for the bomb ass food at the shop man, wish we coulda seen your truck run.

Jon had the same empty bottles in the truck that he had on his last pass where he ran out of juice... that was a motor run against you lol. Mustang is a 76mm turbo'd 5.0L with 32v heads on 10 psi... you should see it at 25 psi lol

yeah i knew john was on motor...that was my only request when he pulled next to me. he got the jump too but it wouldnt have mattered either way. he made easy work of my turd. thats why if theres ever another race, ill get a 125 shot and he has to stay on motor lol. im also ditching the 430 lbs of passengers, the ice chest and the other crap we were traveling with. may need to lose the bed and hood too lol. that truck MOVED OUT!

Not sure of his times on 10psi... he is secretive about it all lol. I know with 25psi he hit 4 digits at the wheels on the dyno
