i like kicker, but i like the sound of a cvx or solo-classic over the sound of the L5 or an L7 solo-barics, my :twocents:
I don't mind the sound of the round Kicker's. I just never have heard a good L5 or L7. I'm waiting for someone to prove me wrong. We both know we've gone through this a hundred times. It's all in the install. It's just that 95% of people won't install them to their potential. No harm, no foul. Everyone has their opinions.
well i used to run kicker before guys, from 2 10' cvr to 2 15' cvx.they were ok,,wasnt really impresed when a 250 watt 50.00 dollar wal mart amp pushed my 2 15s lol
so i want to switch from kicker and ima try JL audio out now.
anyways heres some pre fitment shots in my truck.fit pretty tight, btw that jl in there is a dummy lol

Well it must sound great now but it will BANG with a W7 facing directly at the window.:D
Have not yet. We had quite a bit of older stock left so we getting it sold first. I am gonna get the new cvx for myself prolly this week. I'm getting that box that c-way is selling and gonna fit it in there. Gonna check the airspace and demisions and modify if need be. Kinda anxious to check them out
I have been using JL and RF since the beginning no problems I just usually use RF due to the room constraint and if you want to do something easy and durable with the box just Line-X it will last forever and water proof it to!
ever a/d/s aluminum subs, clean bass, i have 2 12's on a ppi amp, ive had tons of subs and for rock and metal nothing has come close to their sound quality and output
w7 are good but theres better stuff out there for cheaper persoanlly i woud go with digital designs. check their stuff out Digital Designs Speakers Made in the USA - Car, Home, and Personal Audio | ddaudio.com. trust me these things hit hard.
