It all comes down to how much power you want to make and what you want to use the truck for.
my lil basic STS 60mm turbo spools fast on my 6L.. Some guys say its too small, but it runs great. And right now i have the heavy stock TC.
I tow with mine and DD it. This STS kit has been on 3 trucks before mine i think and im still using the same oil pump.
So im plenty happy on 6# with the 60mm..
but since im getting the cam and plan on upping the boost i went ahead and decided on a 76mm turbo. That way i wont have to worry about running it out of its effienecy range.

Don't worry doing it FI doesn't mean your engine isn't working as hard or you are cheating! Go FI FTW! You truck will still be as drivable as stock but you can spank almost any thing around!

Im doing FI. I just need to get a few supporting mods out of the way. Like fuel pump, push rods, springs, and gauges. A tru trac would be nice too.

you dont "have" to get push rods and springs.. ive been running the stockers for 25k miles or so.
Lemme know when your ready for a cam :)
