Total Estimated Time: 31 hours 4 minutes
Total Estimated Distance: 1989.28 miles
Total Estimated Fuel Cost: $263.27
i wont be coming but id really like too
so who got it?
dude from florida
I call bull**** on that award. Dude trailered his truck. KBracing from wyoming and Mitch drove the farthest
i thought the rules were
1. Truck is driven there
2. Gotta at least make one pass and/or burnout
I dont even think the guy is a member here on ls1truck
I'm sure he will be soon enough, probably lots of new members in the next few days
He better register and say thanks for the free money. lol, yea David I think that was a little lame too. But oh well.
i bolted and forgot about this. If i can pay pal someone my 20 let me know
Ya, I drove my **** and broke it (tranny) and have to fix it before I drive it home 1300 miles. :)
I am with Dave--this is BS!!!
Yeah, trailered trucks do NOT count. Whoever let the non-member from Florida win should pay up out of their own pocket and give it to the person (either KB or Mitch) who DROVE their truck the farthest.
yeah it was driven only i member moze addin that requirement, plus i think everyone would agree that tha guy who broke his tranny ought to get it, even if its jus to help him get home...
I say for sure whoever drove there and made a pass. Starting the pass would qualify. If not I agree with Our buddy thats stationed across the big pond. gettin the loot.
kb got ripped!!!
sorry to hear about your tranny bro!!! hope ya get it fixed and make it home safe!!!
CANT BELEAVE LS1TRUCK WOULD GIVE DOLLARS TO A NONCONTENDER!!!!
must have been someones buddy!!
When we started this talk it was driven to the track and either a burnout or a pass on the track. What changed? Who decided who got the money?
If I remember correctly the winner was from KeyWest and I remember helping him on here with some issues he's had on his truck. If he trailered it he still brought his own truck and drove it at the track. The expense of trailering a truck that far is tremendous in relation to what money he received for being the furthest traveled. I'm not sure how they determined the winner but they had their rules in mind and that sounds like a winner to me.
If it were the furthest traveled individual, it would have been a cake walk since he had to cross "the big pond" to come to the race.
This is the first post of the official thread for the longest traveled, should it not be the rules??? No body in the thread who put up money said other wise...
My GPS said i drove just under 1300 miles to get there, just wondering what the people who put up the money think?
(BTW we just got the stock tranny i'm borrowing stabbed in but still needs to button it up. BIG thanks to 1slow01z71 for the help and tranny!!!!)
you shoulda got it KB you or mitch for sure.
The rule was the truck had to be drove. Half the reason for it was the balls of driving a truck you were going to race. Mitch and KB drove 1 way the distance I drove round trip. And KB broke his. If we are going to let trailer queens in the longest trip drawing the man from london wins just for the COST for him to make it. by the way what was he driving
Well I knew he flew garrision. I didnt meet him is why I was wondering. If he made a pass I was wondering in what
i was in an 08 ECSB.
oh. He just didnt think it was ok to say hello??? come on be social!
haha he was social. Him and his cup of crown and coke
Oh. So he was so social he couldnt say "hey. You that guy with that truck from the net want some crown and coke?" I would have replied something like Hell yes! Nice meeting you at the meet as well ducky. You didnt talk very much though.
Its cool. I thought I had pissed you off or something. I think there was alot of people stressed out. Alot of people made a hella long trip and everyone was trippin on tryin to get the best time they could instead of enjoying the day! still was wicked fun and I got to see what a STS kit can do on a 5.3. I cant wait to get it down after watchin your run!
well its hard when people introduce themselves and they arent by there truck I guess. You know that "hard to put names to face", well its hard to put names to trucks I guess when I dont see them together.
What we shoulda done is wear name tags with our ls1 name on there
Thats a good idea for the next meet! Anyone up for started a thread on future plans for one?
I didnt know the guy that won, I figured the rules were followed. He submitted his info to the main booth up front.
