Wow, i didnt expect to get this much feedback this quick but i guess thats the reason i turned to you guys when i had a question. They are all very good ideas and at first reading them the Jg sounded like the way to go but then again the smaller 4.8 just dosent do it for me. so that rules out the 5 speed too. I do like the look of an SS and i know its heavy and bulky but with that 6.0L and 345Hp stock, a super charger on that with a cam, headers and a stall sound like a pretty good set up. Im not looking to buy a new truck then swap the motor out for a larger displacement one, Atleast not right away ahah i just played that game and now im looking for a good platform to do an array of bolt on onto. The TBSS is nice but i can never see myself buying one, Im a pickup kinda guy. Im also wondering if anyone has any dyno numbers from a supercharger 6L and a supercharged 5.3 and how much the differance is. Is the extended cab really that much heavier? It sure would be nice to have the extra room and i guess i could sarcafice a little cornering for the extra room since thease heavy chevys arnt road racers to beging with. And also looking a little deeper into the prices you can pick up a new or slightly used SS for tons less then the Jg so right there is more money for mods.but please keep the feedback coming in and the idead aswell&#33; BTW, dannys JG is sick but i really like the black wheels he has on there, and i know they charge you quite a bit for the wheels that come stock with the Jg so that might be a wasted expense

danny sold teh wheels to a guy on here a while back, and th e22&#39;s he has in teh picture arent on there anymore... hes got a different set of 20&#39;s that look sick... i just wish he would hurry up and update his sig, because his truck with the new stance is SICK...

you could also look into getting one of the 2wd trucks that have the 6.0 VHO option.... might want to take a look at them

I am pickup truck guy aswell (ive owned 3 trucks,all 5.3s).I just never put my bed to use or towed so i traded in my truck for the tbss. Since i got the tbss i have used it to load shit in the cargo area (fences,cement, and other little odds and ends).I only have boltons on my TBSS(even i get accused very often of the giggle gas) and run good 8.0s in the 1/8 and 12.6s in the 1/4.I have tune,cai,ud pulleys,efans,headers,3600 stall and thats IT. I will be having a cam pretty soon and putting new numbers down.OO and also all these times are put down on my factory tires and rims(20s) cuttin 1.7s.these things hook great unlike trucks&#33; But if i was going for one of those trucks i would have to say the SSS(only because u have more around to try to bargain with).Also i know a guy that bought his tbss for 26 used&#33;&#33;

Thanks, it has a good moment now and then but it&#39;s nothing like PEDRO&#39;s TBSS (I&#39;m assuming the white TBSS I saw at Redline was yours) - that rig took off faster than a gay teen drama :eek: :rock: Now when I look at my truck I shake my head saying "we&#39;ve got a lot of work to do..." :laugh:

Also i believe the tbss is lighter than the ext cab trucks

the VHO&#39;s are sweet look at SCIV&#39;s and Jethro&#39;s trucks and you may decide to go that route&#33; u get the same engine as the ss without the hassles of insurance protection and everyone labeling it as "another example of how chevy slaps the ss badge on everything these days". thats not how i feel necessarily but to an extent it does make sense. Take a look at the original SSS concept and what youll see is a highly aggressive beast of a truck with far more in its pants than what they actually made production wise. the plain truth is you can&#39;t go wrong with any of these choices. another one truck i always thought was sharp is the rst&#39;s from regency in dallas. they are soooooo clean and yet another beautiful option on the market. if i were going to rate the trucks i&#39;d buy in order it&#39;d have to be:
1. RCSB RST
2. JG
3. VHO
4. SS
5. RCSB 5.3

like i said tho win win all the way around. with the ss remember some are awd so while ull never lose traction which is awesome, u also lose power and gain weight. Chevy i think is about to wake up and put the ss out there so far ahead of the rest that it will be hard to match its combination of options(see THIS&#33;) :devil:
