Good luck! I put it up on the z71 board. There are several members up in your neck of the woods, so hopefully the word spreads. :hshake:

Another thing I heard.... Take a screwdriver and put some pry marks in his front door. But don't break in. Obviously. That would be breaking and entering. And that would be bad. Then leave a note on his front door or in his mailbox that says "Your house is really nice inside. Lots of pretty things..."
Or stick a 5 gallon bucket of mixed quik-set concrete in your truck. Drive to his house after beddy-bye time, say midnight. Turn his water off at the street. Insert concrete in housing of water valve. Should be hard by morning. No note required on that one.
People do some craaaaazy things when they're taken advantage of. Just sayin it might make the guy reconsider if he wanted to keep your money...
just some random thoughts bumping around my head...trying to help....that sorta thing.........
be a good american, for get about the notes the messages and whatever just give him a good ole AMERICAN @$$ whooping. come on if you cant do it i know you have more friends than this guy, I WOULD FIND HIM WORK OR HOME ... doing anything to his truck the insurance would pay for it if its fully covered if not screw it up also..

I like some of these suggestions but you should wait until it all cools off and he thinks you've just decided to let it go . Remember , he can do all of these things to your property too . But if you remind him you'll never forget or let it drop and this his day is coming in the unknown future , the agony of having that threat in the back of his mind everyday might make him come clean eventually . I suggest you post his company name and what he did to you on a wonderful website called www.ripoffreport.com . I posted up the a/c shop that ripped me off on there .Then , let all of his other victims know a bout it and get them to post too . Just make sure you don't end up being the butt of a lawsuit filed by him !! Sorry you're having to go through this - I was totally pissed at the way the guy hung up on me at the a/c shop and it wasn't nearly this much money ! Don't end up in jail over this asshole !!! Just keep whittling away at him mentally :point:

What I would do (in addition to the site Cheyenne mentioned) is file with the Better Business Bureau. It will go on their records and if anyone else does their research on there prior to using him, they'll be privy to his history.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DamnYankee @ Jan 10 2007, 05:25 PM) </div>I feel the same way - believe me :grr: ! I was furious when that ahole ripped me off and I had that moment of homicidal rage  . You can read about how worthless the BBB is on that website I mentioned . They are a paid organization and not a public service org . Can't count on em at all . My sister used them once to check out a mechanic they said was ok and guess what happened ? He ripped her off !! :whack:Quote:

Do an experiment : report this buttwipe to the BBB and then have someone check with them a week or 2 later and see what happens . Bet they say he has no negative reports . I could be wrong but please let me know if this turns out to be true :bash:
