Lock up.... :duh: That would be the point where your stall quits sliding and goes 1:1. In the current 4L6xE and 4L8xE you can program where it locks up......
All electronic convertors with a lockup are controlled by the PCM. The PCM can be programmed to lock the convertor at different vehicle speeds. The stall speed is the engine RPM when 100% of torque is applied to the transmission. Up to the stall speed, the torque convertor applies a proportionally increasing amount of torque as engine RPM increases.
