sounds like the wifey was tryin to knock you off. you have any life insurance??? huh? a lot of us guys are worth more dead than alive.
j/k, i'd have probably freak out under the preesure and gotten killed.
u could go DBW. then u dont have to worry bout the cable at all. scary stuff, ive had something similar happen when the 72 ran out of coolant and i had to drive to a gas station bout mile down the road, when i turned the key off and pulled the key out the truck kept running. i put it in gear to try to bog it down to a stop, but it didnt work. it always has problems shutting down(for like a second), but this went on for 5 minutes before it came to a stop, its got really hot and steam was coming out for 25-30 minutes. i thought i had fried the old dog, but we put water in it and it fired up and has been ok ever since. my dad said once they get churning like that they somehow keep themselves going without needing the ignition working. idk but scary as hell i promise u that!
thats pretty crazy. what would have been worse is if the cop wouldnt have believed you and written the ticket.
Wow, I would start with that park neutral switch , for some reason its keeping the computer powered up bypassing the ignition switch. Or that circuit would be the spot for a kill switch. just my two cents! Glad it was just driving home and not racing.
I think I'd sue the guy that wired your engine harness.

I think I will or maybe I'll just get the wife to knock him off since he's worth a hell of a lot more that way. I'm sure it's just a loose nut behind the wheel. If I ever get another day off I'll start looking for the problem.Quote:
