lq4/4l80e and parts truck for sale

DOnt worry its not sold yet, I think the truck is dark greay metallic. Ill have to get all the specs on my lunch break tommorow. It was a pretty nice truck so im pretty sure it has the mirror switch. The truck had 92,000 miles on it when wrecked. Its all highway miles where ever you go where i live. I mean its not like west texas or anything but the nearest walmart its like 30 minutes away if that gives anyone an idea. I forgot if it was a 4 wd or not.

Please excuse the lack of info on my first post, i was in a hurry i had to get back to work. I havent been able to get a good look at the truck as of yet as its behind a bunch of crap in his shop. Ill try to get the vin and look up all the rpo codes for yall. Know its a crew cab and that one of the brackets for the accessories on the motor is broken. He wanted like 4200k for all the motor tranny, wiring, pcm and everything bolted to the motor. I got him to reconsider down to 3800. Im sure he will part out a bunch of stuff off this thing. Anything yall want off of it let me know and ill see if i can get it.

I feel really bad cause i was supposed to buy the motor and tranny for my 85' but he didnt get the title to the truck when i had the cash so i bought a bad ass tool box from Snap-On instead for work. He got the title to sell me the motor and tranny, now that i cant pay for it i figured i could at least help him out by seeing if yall wanted it

He will sell the motor and tranny separate and anything else that is still good off the truck. Ill see if i can get some pics, he is supposed to pull it out of his shop tonight.

all i need is tranny, dont wanna pay over 800 or so for the tranny if possible, if not thats cool i just wont buy it haha. i have a guy that could get me one with 30000 miles on it for...lets just say its a good price and it comes with everything. but if the price is low enough... :cool:

sorry i said 2500-3000 for all that stuff, the price he gave me was for just the motor and tranny and me pulling the motor. He was gonna give me the wiring and pcm as a buddy deal, ill keep talking him down though cause i dont know what its worth. and supposedly a slavage yard wanted 3500 for a lq4 with no core. Im guessing he'll go for 3300 or 3200 for all of it, Ill have to talk to him about it somemore. He wanted 4800 at first cause he was gonna have to pull it himself but i made him a deal for some parts off the truck and i would pull it for him

Sorry i had to change the price, i thought the 2500-3000 was the price for everybody, but that was only for me and no accessories off the motor

I just called him and woke him up 3300 firm for Engine, Tranny, wiring, acessories, and pcm. Is that good enough?

FYI an LQ4 with those miles goes for 1200-1800 from a junkyard and the trans goes for about 800-1200(2wd). He isnt going to get anywhere near what he wants for it unless he finds osmeone who just doesnt know any better. You can get a nice built 80e from tranformance for 1600shipped to your door with alot of goodies in it so I dont think he is going to find someone willing ot pay the big bucks like he is wanting. Let me know if he wants to come WAAAYYY down on the 80e. Find out if it has the compass/temp rear view mirror I may be interested init.

Im going to look at the truck on my right now while im still on my lunch break. Ill let yall know. By the way it is a 2wd. I had to wait untill he pulled it out of his shop to see what kind of shape its in. Ill get back with everyone on this later today. Ill let him know that the price is way higher than it should be but if you figure say 1500 for the motor and 1000 for the tranny thats 2500, plus the wiring harness, and pcm, and all the accessories. 3000 isnt so bad, Ill enlighten him on this and see what the price is for just the motor and just for the tranny, and just the wiring harness, and pcm. Ill be back

what color is the interior?? and does he have a center console??

yeah, hes probably not getting anywhere close to that for the engine, i got mine 4 1700 with 30000 miles on it. came with everything but the tranny, which im looking for now. im looking at a few right now around $900, but they have warranty and less miles, thanks tho!

if it will work, i have a 60k mile 4l80e. it&#39;s out of a 1992 chevy ss454. in absolutly perfect condition, removed to install a th400 built because i went with a carb/turbo set-up. i would like to get &#036;750+ shipping.
