Well there is an option called shiftlock, you can enable or disable it. It decides whether the converter stays locked or unlocked during shifts. I'll get a screenshot of it when I get on my laptop.

I don't know anything about all this tuning stuff, I guess I should just shut up and read. I just didn't think your converter would lock up until like 40mph in 3rd or OD. What would be the advantage of it locking up between shifts?
I dont see an advantage to it. Hey man just by reading you will leearn tons, i started reading when I first got my Nelson tune in january 2005 and in the first year I have learned tons and starting tuning myself not too long ago! I would recommend learning as much as you can, even if you dont end up tuning on your own, at least you will have more knowledge of what you think needs adjusted on your truck.

Yeah I would like to get the stuff & learn how to tune my own truck but I don't have the cash. So I'll just read for now and maybe interrupt yalls discussions once and awhile.
lol thats what i did for awhile, just chipped in where i could and when I finally could put what i learned into play, it took awhile for me to save up.
