:thumb: Yeah, if Allen's done doing his magic by then. :jump:
:point: :point: :point: Ok, Friday it will be........ You need to go before you leave town. :hshake:
What happened? Did you make it down here?
what a trip that was. We get the turbo installed no problems, start road tuning and we start to hear a loud whine. then it starts grinding real bad. Thought we trash trans already, so we took it to dealership and it turns out the transfer case went bad. So didn't get to take it to the track.
Runs great. need to upgrade injectors though.
ran through rain on way home, runs good normal driving in rain but in boost it does suck up water.
Thanks to Allen and John for the great service!!! :hshake: :thumb:
Sounds like time to relocate the air intake inside the truck bed.
it's good if I stay out of boost in rain
relocating it will also save maintenance intervals, too. If you put it in the rear corner of the bed it will be in a high pressure zone, too, unless you have a bed cover.
I have a bed cover
So much for that idea. I wonder if there is still enough air flow in the bed to feed the engine since the tailgate isn't sealed and pulls a vacuum on the bed contents as you motor down the highway. I can see it now, a hood scoop on the tonneau cover!
